Jacob Skrzypiec

Social Studies Teacher, Manchester High School

Jake Skrzypiec is a social studies educator in Manchester, Connecticut. He developed Manchester High School’s Human Rights class, a required course for all students, and is an Early College Experience instructor through the University of Connecticut. He also serves on the steering committee for the CT Human Rights Partnership, co-advises the CT Human Rights Youth Council, and serves as co-chair of the National Council for the Social Studies Human Rights Education Community. Through his work and as a Dodd Human Rights Impact Fellow, Jake is especially focused on elevating youth voice through human rights education, and seeks to advance HRE as a national call to action.
